The low block heel is exactly what I needed for walking around campus all day without my feet aching. The sand suede is soft right out of the box, no break-in period at all.

These have become my default work boots — the low block heel is stable enough for a full day of teaching without my feet aching. The mid-calf cut sits perfectly under straight-leg jeans, and the suede hasn't scuffed badly after a month of daily wear.

The suede is a nice rich shade of sand and the low block heel makes them comfortable for all-day wear. I've gotten compliments every time I wear them out.
