I was worried the wrinkled leather would look cheap in person but it actually gives them a nice worn-in feel right out of the box. The gathered apron stitching around the toe is what sold me, it sets them apart from plain loafers. Wore them to the office all day and no break-in blisters.

The contrast laces on these really make the penny strap stand out, and the gathered apron gives them a slightly dressier feel than my old flats. Wore them straight out of the box for a full day of errands with zero break-in needed.
